Sydney Film Festival is set to host several highlights from Iranian filmmakers.
The lineup includes 'Pig' by Mani Haghighi, ‘No Date, No Signature’ by Vahid Jalilvand and Pouya Badkoubeh's 'Dressage'.
'Dressage' is the winner of the Jury Award in Berlin Film Festival’s Generation Section.
'No Date, No Signature’ has also won the Best Director and Best Actor awards in Venice’s Horizons program.
This year's edition will also highlight '24 Frames' by Iran late-great filmmaker Abbas Kiarostami previously premiered at the 70th Cannes Film Festival.
A total of 250 films with 160 different languages from 60 countries will be showcased at the Sydney event this year.
The Sydney Film Festival is an annual film festival that brings the world’s best new films to Sydney every June for 12 days.
The event will take place on June 6-17, 2018 in Sydney, Australia.
